IT Infrastructure Project Manager

 

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for our office in Dubai (UAE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering infrastructure type projects (i.e. servers, software, and network installations / upgrades).

 

The Project Team consists of 6 - 10 members.

General Duties:

    - Responsible for the management of technical project(s) or program teams from initiation through implementation which includes planning, analysis, design development and implementation
    - Provides overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines
    - Integrates project plans into Program Plans
    - Establishes roles and responsibilities within the core program team
    - Allocates and coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects
    - Manages budget for assigned project(s), develops and monitors project / program plan(s), and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
    - Aligns business unit, technical development and support organizations
    - Establishes program communication plan across the businesses, regions, support and technology groups
    - Prepares and presents progress reports for senior management

REQUIREMENTS:

Specific Qualifications (items are required unless otherwise noted):

    - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, MIS, or a related field required

    - Knowledge of IT Infrastructure
    - Experience managing IT Infrastructure Projects
    - Strong communication skills
    - Strong organization skills
    - 5+ years of experience with MS Office
    - 5+ years of experience with MS Project
    - 5+ years of experience with Project Management
